Review Process


When we have a list of 15 to 20 wedding photographers, the Business Manager will share the most recent Membership Consideration Review Google spreadsheets with the Chief Community Officer to review/approve/reject. After both have assessed and voted on the photographers, the results are compared. Where both agree on either YES or NO, the photographers voted in will be sent an invitation to join BOWP (prepared by the Business Manager). In situations where there is not agreement between the two voting parties, the photographer details will be sent to Erick Danzer for a final decision.

Here is the information we need to complete your profile:


Photographer Profile Information

1) The business name under which you want to appear.

2) The domain name or URL to which you would like to direct readers.

3) Your home location. If you are based in the US, this location should include the largest nearby metropolitan city and the state. If you are based in Canada, the location should include the city and province. If you are based elsewhere, the location should include the city and country.

4) Other locations. Please give us two other major locations (countries or US states) in which you would like to be listed. You are also free to choose up to six cities total (all must be within your home country/state or your two additional countries/states).

5) Bio or description. Please submit the bio or description you would like to see on your profile page. This description can be as short or as long as you like. On average, we recommend a couple of well-written paragraphs. Please think of this as marketing copy that should convey your unique style, personality, and branding, and encourage readers to click through to your site.

6) Images. Every profile will have a single large “lead” image as well as an optional gallery of up to 9 images. So you may send up to ten images including your lead image and gallery. The lead image will be the largest image on your profile page, and the basis of the thumbnail that represents you on the home page, so please choose an outstanding image that conveys your finest work. Your lead image should be a LANDSCAPE or horizontal image of conventional 3X2 aspect ratio. All images can be low resolution (but not less than 800 pixels in the longest dimension). You can send those to us via email or any other preferred method.

You can send all of the above information, together or separately to bowp@photocrati.com. Please include BOWP Profile and your studio name in your response.


Shortly after your profile is published, you will be receiving your user ID and password for blog postings. Kindly review our Blog Submission Guidelines.
