This process is normally completed after a wedding photographer has decided to no longer be listed (cancelled membership, failed payments, etc.) and has been put into Pending status. If a category is still available with no listings (the link will not work and this will affect our SEO).

Log into https://www.bestofweddingphotography.com/wp-admin/

Under Posts > Categories > select Count and it will bring up counts that have 0 photographers listed in them.

Copy the Name i.e. Kansas City Wedding Photographers and Description to the BOWP Category Descriptions google spreadsheet (page 2 - Saved Category Descriptions) https://drive.google.com/drive/u/1/folders/15HA6RY21IOck9jw7cm4qq3AMGtK8Teik  by inserting a row above/below where the city/state/country fit in alphabetically.

You can now Delete that category description from BOWP.

Next, log into https://www.photocrati.com/wp-admin and go to this post:  https://www.photocrati.com/best-of-wedding-photography/ and select Edit Post. Search (control + f) for the category name. If it is there, the link will look like this: <li><a href="http://www.bestofweddingphotography.com/photographers/kansas-city-wedding-photographers/">Kansas City Wedding Photographers</a></li>. Delete that link but be very careful that you do not change the formatting. Update. If the category is not listed on this post, you can skip this step.

Next, go back to Best of Wedding Photography and start the process over again to see if there are any counts with 0 photographers listed left.
